The Retreat
In March 2020 we began our adventure and went property hunting in France. The property we purchased in St Michele De Montjoie, is nestled in secluded rural land and woodland, with natural granite boulders dotted around the site. St Michel De Montjoie was a granite mining village and has its own small granite museum detailing the history and exhibits some fine pieces of granite art. Our site, we feel is a perfect quiet retreat, just the place to unwind amongst nature as intended. We do allow dogs, but do ask that they are tethered and kept on the lead when out walking them.
Bell Tents!
We now have two, five metre bell tents to hire. For those who just want a hassle free holiday we have one pre set up with the basic camping equipment, camping cooker, bedding, sun loungers, electric hook up.

Electric hook ups are available. However, we don’t allow electrical vehicles to be charged on our site. An outbuilding provides a toilet, washing area and showers.
We can accommodate small/medium campervans and caravans as well as tents. All guests have free use of the hot tub and heated pool. All guests are welcome to roam around the camping fields as nature intended.
There are sunbathing areas around the polytunnel area, the granite rock field and woodland areas. Outdoor seating and some sun lounges are provided together with hammocks in woodland area. We will also have a communal campfire/bbq area for guests which will be a great place to share stories and play music.
If you have never tried naturism, come and give it a go, it’s not compulsory to be naked at all times. So come and relax and enjoy at your own comfort level.
Guests are advised to bring a good quality torch with them as parts of the site are unlit.

Sadly our main hot tub is awaiting repair! Don't worry, we have a back up and it's been tried and tested.
The Gite
We also have a separate newly restored, clothing optional, granite stone Gite with a fully fitted kitchen / dining room, boasting a log burning stove. A unique lounge, with some of the granite creating a feature wall. Two double bedrooms upstairs, both with en suite. All bedding will provided. The Gite has it's own private garden area away from our camping fields, with the option of pulling a full length screen across.
Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate pets and charge electric vehicles.
